Structural Features Rectangular die cast aluminum housing with integrated wiring junction box. Dual ended output shaft structure, both ends support crank arm installation. Working Principle 4-20mA control signal enters the actuator signal terminal. The internal circuit compares input signal value with potentiometer position feedback signal. The servo motor drives gear reduction set to rotate output shaft until feedback value matches command signal. The gear set transfers torque to crank arm and drives damper or valve to target position. When power supply cuts off, the actuator stays at current position without automatic reset.
Installation Requirements Install M7284A1079 on matching foot mounting bracket and fix to valve or damper frame. Connect crank arm and linkage between actuator shaft and controlled equipment. Wire 24VAC power supply and 4-20mA control signal cable to junction box terminals. Calibrate zero point and span after mechanical linkage installation. Power on the actuator and test full stroke movement. Keep actuator upright mounting to meet NEMA 3 weather protection requirement.
Usage Notes This model has no spring return function, safety shutdown logic must rely on external safety valve. Do not exceed rated 150 lb-in torque load on output shaft. Crank arm and linkage must be free of mechanical jamming. Keep the actuator away from direct high temperature radiation from burner flame. Do not apply impact force to output shaft during installation.
