Materials and Construction
- Housing: Flame-retardant engineering plastic
- PCB: FR4 board with conformal coating
- Core: 8-channel DAC, V/I circuit
- Connector: C-series dedicated backplane
- Terminals: FTA field terminal board
- Passive components: Precision resistors, TVS
Structural Features
- Narrow card in C-series I/O socket
- Front panel channel LEDs
- Right-side FTA field terminal board
- Independent channel isolation
- Removable terminal block
- Card locking mechanism
Working Principle The controller sends setpoints over C-series bus; the DAC converts to voltage and the V/I circuit produces 4 to 20 mA to the valve. Output loop monitoring detects wire-break. On failure the card drives a preset fail-safe value. LEDs indicate channel status.
Installation Requirements
- Insert I/O socket with power off
- Connect FTA terminals per drawing
- Shielded twisted pair output
- Do not short output
- Rack grounding
- Temperature -20 °C to +60 °C
- Configure output range in engineering station
Precautions
- Confirm system support before online replacement
- Do not short output
- Load must not exceed 750 Ω
- Wear ESD wrist strap
- Store spares in anti-static moisture-proof packaging
- Verify output from software after replacement
