Description
Kollmorgen AKB335-M005.KS1-10-B
Technical Specifications Combined power and encoder feedback cable; fine stranded flexible copper conductors; overall tinned copper braid shielding; PUR outer jacket; rated voltage 600V; suitable for continuous flexing in drag chains; operating temperature -20°C to +80°C; pin assignment compliant with Kollmorgen AKM servo interface standard.
Functional Features Delivers three-phase power to servo motor windings. Transmits differential quadrature encoder feedback signals to servo drives. Isolates power noise from low-level encoder signals through twisted pair and shielding design. Supports continuous reciprocating movement for dynamic machine axes. Adopts custom connector configuration defined by the suffix code.
Application Scenarios High-speed automated assembly machines, electronic component testing equipment, precision positioning stages, printing and converting machinery, gantry robot systems.
Performance Parameters Stable differential signal transmission at high motor speed; high flex life for cyclic motion applications; low crosstalk between power and signal cores; reliable connector retention under machine vibration.
Material Composition Conductor is fine tinned copper strands; core insulation uses flexible cross-linked polymer; shielding layer is dense tinned copper braid; outer sheath is oil-resistant PUR; custom end connectors use gold-plated contact pins and metal locking shells.
Structural Characteristics Integrated hybrid cable including power wires and encoder twisted pairs. Custom-length finished cable with factory-terminated connectors on both ends. Internal twisted pair arrangement optimizes signal integrity. Connector shell has locking mechanism for vibration resistance.
Working Principle AC power is transmitted through power cores to drive the servo motor. The encoder mounted on the motor outputs position and speed pulse signals, which travel through shielded twisted pairs back to the servo amplifier. The servo drive relies on these feedback signals to adjust output current and achieve precise position control. The shielding structure suppresses electromagnetic interference generated by servo switching.
Installation Requirements Arrange the cable in drag chains with bending radius larger than the minimum specified value. Connect the motor-side connector to the AKM motor port and the drive-side connector to the servo amplifier port. Tighten connector locks completely. Implement single-point shielding grounding at the drive cabinet side. Verify encoder signal integrity and motor operation after power on.
Precautions for Use Avoid crushing the cable with moving machine components. Keep the cable away from high-current power cables. Inspect outer sheath abrasion periodically for high-cycle motion axes. Do not modify connector pin assignment arbitrarily.
