Working Principle The laser emitter pulses red light to the target; reflected light is collected by the receiver. Flight time is measured to compute distance. Processed distance is output via RS485 and analog. The measured value is compared to a set window for switch output. LEDs indicate laser and measurement status.

Installation Requirements

  • Mount on bracket aimed at target
  • Stable vibration-free surface
  • M12 cable connected
  • DC24 V supply
  • Temperature -10 °C to +50 °C
  • Teach zero and span after power-up
  • Avoid strong direct light on window

Precautions

  • Class 2 laser: do not stare into beam
  • Keep optical window clean
  • Black rough surfaces require gain adjustment
  • Strong vibration affects accuracy
  • Store spares in dry environment
  • Periodically calibrate zero
