- Integrated power supply inside main unit without separate power module.
Working Principle After power-on, PLC executes self-diagnostic routine then runs user program cyclically. In scan cycle, FX3G-40MTESS reads status of input terminals, executes ladder logic program, then writes calculated result to output terminals. High speed counter hardware captures pulse signal independent of program scan cycle. Positioning hardware generates pulse sequence to control motor movement. Communication port exchanges data with HMI or programming computer. All I/O status and register data update in each scan cycle.
Installation Requirements
- Mount unit on standard 35mm DIN rail inside control cabinet.
- Use shielded twisted pair cable for high speed pulse and communication wiring.
- Separate PLC signal cables from high power motor cables.
- Complete protective earth connection for PLC housing.
- Keep ambient temperature within rated operating range.
- Download user program and verify I/O mapping before commissioning.
- Perform I/O forced test to check input and output channel function.
Usage Notes
- Do not connect AC power to input signal terminals.
- Load current of transistor output must stay within rated limit.
- Keep cabinet dry and free of conductive dust and corrosive gas.
- Backup user program before firmware update or program modification.
- Disconnect power before wiring modification.
- Use anti-static protection when handling unit.
- Replace unit immediately when permanent hardware fault occurs.
