PARKER TBF120/7R

Product Introduction The TBF120/7R is a hydraulic return line filter assembly produced by Parker for hydraulic fluid systems. It removes solid particulate contamination from circulating hydraulic oil to protect hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders and servo components. The assembly combines filter housing, filter element, bypass valve and differential pressure indicator. It maintains fluid cleanliness and extends service life of hydraulic components in heavy machinery hydraulic circuits.

PARKER TBF120/7R

Technical Specifications Rated flow capacity 120 L/min; Filter micron rating 7 micron; Working pressure rating; Bypass spring opening pressure; Differential pressure clog indicator; Fluid compatibility with mineral hydraulic oil; Operating fluid temperature -10°C to +100°C; Threaded inlet and outlet ports.

Functional Features 7 micron filtration captures fine solid particles in hydraulic fluid; Built-in bypass valve opens automatically when element clogs and differential pressure rises; Visual differential pressure indicator alerts operator for element replacement; Integrated housing for simple installation; Anti-collapse filter element structure; Sealing gasket prevents fluid leakage; Element replacement without full system oil drainage.

Application Scenarios Plastic injection molding machine hydraulic system; Metal forming machine hydraulic power unit; Mobile heavy equipment hydraulic circuit; Steel mill hydraulic control system; Test bench hydraulic loop; Material handling hydraulic machinery.

Performance Parameters Filtration efficiency maintains stable at rated flow; Bypass valve opening pressure fixed; Differential indicator trigger accuracy consistent; Filter element dirt holding capacity meets specification; Sealing performance remains stable under temperature change.

Material Composition Cast aluminum filter housing; Glass fiber filter media; Reinforced metal inner support sleeve; Nitrile rubber sealing gaskets; Spring for bypass valve; Plastic visual indicator cap; Steel threaded port connection.

Structural Features Cylindrical filter housing with side inlet and outlet ports; Bottom removable bowl for element replacement; Internal bypass valve assembly; Top mounted differential pressure indicator; Sealing gaskets between housing and bowl; Internal central tube supporting filter media.

Working Principle Contaminated hydraulic oil flows into filter housing inlet port. Fluid passes through 7 micron filter element. Solid particles are trapped on filter media. Clean oil flows out through outlet port back to hydraulic tank. When filter element accumulates contaminant, pressure difference across element increases. Once differential pressure reaches preset threshold, bypass valve opens and allows oil to bypass element to avoid system starvation. The differential pressure indicator pops up visually to remind maintenance to replace filter element.

Installation Requirements Install filter on hydraulic return pipeline with correct flow direction marking; Mount assembly with enough space for element removal; Use proper torque for port connection fittings; Select compatible seal material with hydraulic fluid; Keep pipeline free of excessive vibration.

Precautions for Use Replace filter element immediately after indicator triggers; Use only genuine Parker replacement elements; Drain residual oil before opening filter bowl; Check gasket integrity during element replacement; Do not exceed maximum working pressure rating.
