Working Principle: The controller receives position and motion commands from upper CNC or motion controller via SERCOS bus. The encoder feeds back real-time motor position and speed signals to the drive. Internal DSP executes high-speed closed-loop control algorithm to calculate required torque output. PWM signal drives IGBT power stage to adjust motor stator current. The built-in protection circuit continuously monitors voltage, current and temperature parameters and triggers protection action once exceeding safe threshold. Regenerative energy generated during motor deceleration is consumed by internal brake chopper circuit.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount vertically inside ventilated electrical cabinet
- Reserve 100mm clearance at top and bottom for air circulation
- Keep away from contactors, transformers and other high electromagnetic interference sources
- Separate motor power cable and encoder signal cable, use shielded encoder cable
- Implement reliable protective grounding according to local electrical codes
- Install external braking resistor when regenerative energy exceeds internal brake capacity
Usage Notes:
- Confirm motor rated parameters and encoder type before power-on
- Do not apply input voltage exceeding rated 480V AC
- Regularly inspect cooling fan operation and clean dust accumulation on heat sink
- Backup drive parameters before firmware upgrade or maintenance
- Disconnect main power and control power before opening enclosure
- Avoid frequent power cycling within short time period
