Application Scenarios Metal forming machine tools, paper web processing machinery, printing presses, packaging converting equipment, robotic handling systems, laser processing machines, multi-axis test benches.
Performance Parameters Real-time motion cycle achieves millisecond-level deterministic control for multi-axis synchronization. SERCOS optical bus realizes high noise immunity for motion command and encoder feedback data transmission. The watchdog circuit triggers safety shutdown immediately once the main control program loses normal operation. CompactFlash storage maintains stable reading and writing performance under continuous vibration environment. System supports uninterrupted recording of production variables and fault events during long-time continuous operation. Multi-axis interpolation keeps positioning synchronization precision during high-speed continuous motion.
Material Composition Housing: Aluminum alloy metal enclosure with surface anodizing treatment. Main PCB: FR4 multi-layer high-density industrial printed circuit board with conformal coating. Core electronic components: Embedded CPU chipset, RAM memory, CompactFlash controller, SERCOS optical transceiver, Ethernet controller, watchdog chip, voltage regulation circuit. Connector: Metal shielded Ethernet connector, USB connector, optical fiber port, terminal block for power supply. Fasteners: Stainless steel anti-loosening screws. Internal cable: Shielded flexible wire for internal board connection.
Structural Features Rectangular compact metal casing structure for cabinet installation. Front panel equipped with power indicator, running status LED and fault LED. All communication and optical interfaces are arranged on front panel for convenient access. Internal hardware layout separates power supply circuit, real-time bus circuit and general PC circuit. Heat dissipation realized by natural convection through casing heat conduction. DIN rail clip is installed on back side for quick mounting inside control cabinet. Internal slot reserved for PCI expansion board installation.
Working Principle After 24VDC power input, internal power circuit supplies power to embedded CPU, memory and peripheral interfaces. The controller boots Windows system and loads Rexroth real-time motion kernel. User PLC program and motion project stored in CompactFlash card are loaded into RAM for execution. Motion planning algorithm calculates target position, speed and torque for each servo axis, and transmits command data to servo drives through SERCOS optical fiber bus. Encoder position feedback signals return from servo drives through optical bus back to controller for closed-loop position calculation. The soft PLC executes logic control, reads digital I/O signals and handles safety interlock. The system records operation data and fault information, which can be displayed on HMI or exported via USB or Ethernet. Hardware watchdog continuously monitors CPU operation state, and triggers safety stop if abnormal operation is detected.
Installation Requirements Mount the controller on DIN rail or cabinet base plate inside control cabinet. Reserve enough clearance around the unit to guarantee natural air convection heat dissipation. Connect 24VDC power cable to power terminal, use wire with adequate current rating. Connect SERCOS optical fiber between controller and each servo drive according to bus topology. Ethernet and USB cables are routed separately from high-power motor cables. Complete wiring inspection before power-on, check optical fiber connection cleanliness and no bend beyond minimum bending radius. Load engineering project and configure axis parameters via Rexroth engineering software after power on. Perform single axis jog test and multi-axis synchronous motion test to verify motion performance.
Usage Precautions Do not bend SERCOS optical fiber sharply, sharp bending causes permanent optical signal attenuation. Keep cabinet internal dust clean, dust accumulation affects heat dissipation and optical port performance. Disconnect power supply before removing CompactFlash card. Avoid conductive dust, corrosive gas and condensation environment. Back up project files regularly to external storage device. Do not open aluminum housing without professional permission, internal components are static sensitive. Shut down system properly before firmware upgrade, power interruption during upgrade damages firmware.
