Application Scenarios: Automated production line PROFIBUS network control Packaging machine multi‑axis synchronization system Printing machine group control Material handling conveyor control General factory automation PROFIBUS networking
Performance Parameters: Bus cycle time reaches minimum 1ms under high baud rate Supports standard PROFIBUS diagnosis alarms Automatic baud rate detection Galvanic isolation between bus side and drive control side
Material Composition: Glass fiber PCB circuit board SMD industrial communication chips Isolation optocoupler chips Gold‑plated edge connector Flame‑retardant plastic card housing Terminal block with gold‑plated contacts
Structural Characteristics: Plug‑in rectangular card structure Edge connector for backplane connection with servo drive Front side with bus terminal block and DIP switch for station address Two LED indicators for bus status and card working status Metal shielding shell to suppress electromagnetic interference
Working Principle: The card obtains working power from servo inverter backplane. PROFIBUS‑DP telegram from master PLC passes through galvanic isolation circuit, communication chip parses received data including speed command and control word, and transmits data to servo drive main control board. Drive status, actual speed, torque and fault information are packaged into PROFIBUS telegram and uploaded to master controller. Bus communication fault is detected and indicator lamp triggers alarm.
Installation Requirements: Power off servo inverter completely before card installation or removal Insert card into side expansion slot of MOVIDRIVE drive and lock fixing screw PROFIBUS bus cable adopts standard shielded twisted pair cable Bus terminal resistor must be switched ON for the last station on bus segment Keep bus cable away from high‑power power cables to avoid interference
Precautions for Use: Implement ESD anti‑static protection before touching circuit board Do not touch gold‑plated connector pins Set station address before power‑on to avoid address conflict Check bus wiring continuity and shielding grounding Replace card immediately when communication chip damage occurs Do not modify circuit components on the card
