Working Principle:
The DFS56H servo drive operates on a closed-loop vector control principle. The drive receives position, speed, or torque commands from the motion controller via its communication interface. The SM10 module reads the motor’s actual position and speed from the integrated encoder and feeds this data back to the control algorithm. The vector control algorithm decomposes the motor current into flux-producing and torque-producing components, enabling independent control of magnetic flux and electromagnetic torque. The PTC thermal protection circuit continuously monitors the motor winding temperature and reduces output or triggers a protective shutdown if the temperature exceeds safe limits.
