Woodward 9907-149

Product Introduction: The Woodward 9907-149 is a dedicated industrial digital governor control module designed for prime mover speed regulation and load control systems. This hardware serves as the core control unit for steam turbines, gas turbines, diesel generators and reciprocating power equipment. It collects real-time rotor speed signals, executes closed-loop PID regulation logic, outputs precise actuator drive signals, and completes unit speed stabilization, load distribution, overspeed protection and operational sequence control. The module supports long-term stable operation in harsh industrial power plant environments and matches Woodward standard rack control systems.

Working Principle: The module obtains real-time rotor speed pulse signals from field magnetic pickup sensors. The internal high-speed processor compares the actual speed value with the preset target speed value, calculates dynamic deviation through PID regulation algorithm, and outputs analog or switch control signals to fuel actuators and governor actuators. The module continuously monitors input signal status, power supply state and internal chip operating status. Once overspeed, signal loss or hardware abnormality occurs, the module immediately triggers protection interlock and uploads fault alarm information to the upper monitoring platform.

Installation Requirements: Install the module in the designated standard slot of Woodward industrial control rack Ensure the rear backplane connector is fully inserted and locked in place All speed signal cables adopt shielded twisted-pair wires with single-point grounding Signal wiring and high-power power cables are routed in separate bridge frames The cabinet protection grounding terminal must achieve reliable equipotential grounding Reserve upper and lower ventilation gaps to ensure natural heat dissipation Complete parameter configuration and loop calibration after installation

Precautions for Use: Completely cut off rack DC power supply before plugging and unplugging the module Must wear anti-static wristband and anti-static gloves during maintenance operations Strictly check signal wiring polarity to avoid reverse connection and burnout Prohibit access of overvoltage and overcurrent abnormal field signals Regularly check terminal fastening status to prevent poor contact from vibration Keep the inside of the cabinet dry and clean without dust accumulation and condensation Do not disassemble the module shell privately to avoid damage to internal shielding structure
