Working Principle
Flyweights sense the turbine’s rotational speed. As speed changes, the flyweights move a pilot valve that directs pressurized oil from the internal reservoir to a servo piston. The piston adjusts the steam valve position to restore the desired speed, operating with a natural droop characteristic.
Installation Requirements
Must be mounted securely to the turbine with proper alignment to the steam valve linkage. Requires adequate clearance for maintenance and oil level checking.
