- Application Scenarios:
- Power plant turbine/generator parameter monitoring
- Petrochemical and refinery process loops (pressure, temperature, flow)
- Pulp & paper, metallurgy continuous process control
- Water treatment pH, conductivity, level monitoring loops
- Material & Structure:
- Housing: Flame-retardant ABS/PC plastic with metal shielding plate
- PCB: Industrial-grade FR4 with conformal coating option
- Connectors: Screw or spring-cage terminal block (via terminal unit)
- Working Principle:
Field analog signals are conditioned through input amplifiers and multiplexed to a high-resolution A/D converter. Digital values are transmitted over the module bus to the controller. Output values from the controller are converted by on-board D/A converters and buffered through isolated output drivers to the field.
- Installation Requirements:
- Install in designated Advant OCS I/O rack or on 35 mm DIN rail with proper grounding
- Use shielded twisted-pair cables for analog signals; connect shield to ground at one end
- Ensure 24 V DC supply is stable and correctly polarized
- Precautions:
- Do NOT mix voltage-type and current-type wiring on the same terminal
- Verify jumper/resistor settings match sensor type before energizing
- Avoid disconnecting field wiring while module is live in non-hot-swap configuration
