- Case Size: 72×72 mm or 96×96 mm DIN standard
- Operating Temp.: –10 °C to +50 °C
- Enclosure: ABS/PC, IP40 front / IP20 rear
- Mounting: Panel cut-out with retaining clips
- Functional Features:
- Clear analog pointer or LCD/LED numeric display
- Optional alarm contact or retransmission output on electronic versions
- Anti-parallax mirror scale on high-grade analog types
- Application Scenarios:
- DC drive cabinet current monitoring
- Battery bank discharge/charge current display
- Generator exciter current indication
- Material & Structure:
- Front bezel: Black or white molded plastic
- Rear terminals: Brass screw type for shunt and supply
- Working Principle:
A precision shunt placed in the current path develops a proportional millivolt drop (e.g., 75 mV at full scale). The meter measures this voltage drop and displays the corresponding current value calibrated to the shunt rating.
- Installation Requirements:
- Use Kelvin (4-wire) connection to shunt for accuracy
- Mount in vertical panel position; avoid vibration and strong EMI sources
- Select shunt rating matching meter scale exactly
- Precautions:
- Polarity must match shunt polarity to avoid reverse deflection (analog) or negative reading
- Do NOT apply voltage >75 mV directly — always use correct external shunt
- Periodically verify zero adjustment
