Working Principle

  1. After being inserted into PLC backplane, establish high-speed data interaction channel with CPU through internal backplane bus
  2. NETX100 chip encapsulates PLC logic output data into PROFINET standard real-time data frames, forward to each IO slave station through dual-port switch
  3. Receive process feedback data from slave equipment, decode and transmit to PLC CPU for closed-loop control operation
  4. Continuously detect Ethernet link electrical signals, once link disconnection, packet loss or network ring fault occurs, trigger alarm flag bit and light ERROR indicator
  5. Support DCP automatic IP assignment function, automatically identify newly connected PROFINET slave devices during engineering commissioning

 

Installation Requirements

  1. Exclusive matching ABB AC500 series PLC CPU base, incompatible with other brand PLC platforms
  2. Installed inside closed electrical cabinet with protection grade ≥IP54, avoid dust and moisture invasion
  3. Network cable uses CAT5e industrial shielded Ethernet cable, maximum single segment cable length 100m
  4. When adopting linear daisy-chain topology, connect equipment sequentially through PNIO1 and PNIO2 dual ports of modules
  5. Reserve 10mm heat dissipation gap on both sides of the module, cannot be closely attached to high-power heating modules
  6. Shielded layer of Ethernet cable single-point connected to cabinet protection ground to eliminate electromagnetic interference
