Working Principle:
Field voltage is applied to the input terminal. An internal optocoupler isolates this signal and converts it to a logic level compatible with the PLC backplane. The PLC reads the state of the optocoupler to determine if the input is ON or OFF.

- Wiring: Use twisted-pair wiring for long cable runs.
