- EMC Protection: Shielded connections and isolated digital inputs to prevent electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial environments.
Working Principle:
The module conditions the incoming HTL encoder signals, filters out electrical noise, and translates them into precise digital position and speed data for the drive’s control algorithm. It simultaneously generates a clean TTL emulation signal for external devices.
Installation Requirements:
- Insert the module into the designated option slot on the drive control board.
- Secure the module using the provided mounting screw to ensure proper grounding and EMC compliance.
- Use shielded instrumentation cables, preferably with twisted pairs, for encoder connections.
Usage Precautions:
- Carefully set the supply voltage jumpers on connector X81 before powering up; selecting the wrong voltage will damage the encoder.
- Configure DIP switches correctly when using open collector or open emitter encoders.
- Do not exceed the maximum combined power consumption of 5W for all connected sensors and cabling.
