Product Brief:​ RLM0 was an Advant Controller 450 / MasterPiece 200 add-on communication card providing a serial remote I/O link (similar to C.W. but for S100 I/O clusters or early S800 nodes). It has been obsolete for many years​ — spares may be kept for existing plants but new designs use CI840A (S800 I/O over HN800) or INNIS21 + IEMMU21 (for INFI 92 I/O). If encountered in a spare list it is a legacy keep-spare only​ — new expansions should use CI840A-based RIO600.

  • Mounts in Advant Controller communication slot
  • Connects via shielded twisted-pair to S100 I/O rack’s DSTK150 bus coupler or early S800 node
  • Max distance / node count per old spec (typically ≤500 m, ≤8–16 I/O stations)
  • Precaution:​ Do NOT specify for new projects; if system upgrade planned, budget for CI840A + S800 I/O retrofit.
