  • Flange / bezel that fits around 4U RELION IED (REF615E, REC670, REG670) front — provides screw-mount to 19″ panel cutout (≈482 × 177 mm)

  • May include DIN-rail adapter plate if compact version (REF615A) to be panel-mounted

  • Technical / Installation Details:
    • Material: Aluminum or zinc-plated steel flange; braided tinned-copper earth strap
    • Fits: 4U half-rack RELIONIED (REF615E, REC670, REG670, RET650…)
    • Mount: 4 × M5 screws to panel pre-punched cutout; IED snaps in from front; flange clamps IED bezel
    • Earth strap: one end crimped to IED PE stud (rear), other end to panel earth bar / tapped hole
  • Application / Structure / Working Principle / Installation / Precautions:
    • Use when retrofitting RELION IED into existing 19″ protection cubicle that previously held electromechanical / static relay — ensures proper seismic fixing & EMC bonding
    • Verify cutout dimensions match IED outline drawing (typically 177.5 mm H × 482.6 mm W with 4 × ∅5.5 mm holes at corners)
    • Tighten flange screws evenly to compress IED front gasket → achieve IP54 front seal
    • Connect earth strap — essential for EMC & safety (IED chassis is connected to PE via this strap if panel not directly bonded)
    • Precaution:​ Do NOT confuse with legacy “option key” — no key needed for REF615/REC670 EF directional; if your BOM has RXEDK2H it is almost certainly the mounting kit.
