Description
ABB SDCS-POW-4-COAT
Technical Specifications:
- Input Voltage: Three-phase AC 380V to 480V, 50/60Hz.
- Output Voltage: DC 0V to 500V.
- Maximum Current: 200A.
- Environmental Standard: Complies with IEC 60721-3-3 Class 3C3.
- Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C.
Functional Features:
- High-Precision Regulation: Voltage fluctuation is strictly maintained below ±1%, ensuring constant motor operation and reducing energy consumption.
- Dynamic Response: Features a dynamic response time of less than 10ms, supporting smooth motor starting and braking.
- Comprehensive Protection: Includes overload protection (automatically cuts off output at >150% load), overvoltage/undervoltage protection, and thermal protection (LED warning when heat sinks exceed 85°C).
- Hot-Swappable: Supports hot-plug replacement, reducing maintenance time to 15 minutes or less.
Application Scenarios:
Specifically designed for severe and demanding industrial environments, including offshore platforms, chemical processing plants, wind power generation, and thermal power stations.
Performance Parameters:
- Insulation Resistance: ≥100MΩ (tested at 500V DC).
- Reliability: Average Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) reaches 100,000 hours.
- Corrosion Resistance: Withstands salt spray testing for 1,000 hours and Hydrogen Sulfide (HS) concentrations up to 50ppm.
Material Composition:
The module features a specialized polyurethane-based composite conformal coating that is resistant to mold, salt spray, and corrosive gases. Internal components include integrated microcontrollers, ADCs, and isolation devices.
Structural Features:
Modular design with dimensions approximately 130mm (H) × 260mm (W) × 295mm (D) and a weight of roughly 35kg. It is compatible with Profibus and Modbus fieldbus protocols and can be expanded with digital input and multi-channel control modules.
Working Principle:
Converts three-phase alternating current into a highly stable direct current output. Integrated microcontrollers continuously monitor input voltages and internal temperatures, executing logic control and fault diagnostics to ensure uninterrupted power delivery to the control system.
Installation Requirements:
Ensure proper mounting within the designated S800 I/O rack. Maintain adequate clearance for heat dissipation, especially given the module’s high current capacity.
Usage Precautions:
Do not use organic solvents to clean the coated surface. If the protective coating is damaged to a depth greater than 0.5mm, the module must be returned to the factory for repair.
