Description
ABLECOM SP382-TS
Technical Specifications Brand: Ablecom Model: SP382-TS Input Voltage: 100-240 VAC wide range Rated Output Power: 380 W DC Output: 12 VDC main output, auxiliary 5 VSB standby power Cooling: Built-in temperature-controlled cooling fan Operating Temperature: 0°C to +50°C Humidity: 20% to 80% non-condensing Mounting: Hot swap rack slot module
Functional Features Wide range AC input adapts to global industrial mains voltage. Hot swap capability allows module replacement without powering down the whole rack. Parallel redundant operation enables backup power for high availability systems. Built-in overvoltage, overcurrent, over-temperature and short-circuit protection. Temperature-controlled fan adjusts fan speed according to internal temperature. Front panel LED indicators show power good status and fault alarm. Power fail signal output reports power supply abnormality to host system.
Application Scenarios Industrial server racks, DCS controller cabinets, data acquisition rack systems, network switch rack, factory computer control systems.
Performance Parameters High efficiency power conversion reduces heat generation. Stable DC output voltage under AC input fluctuation. Instant protection activation when output overload or short circuit occurs. Low output ripple and noise for sensitive electronic boards. Fan speed regulation reduces acoustic noise at light load.
Material Composition Housing: Sheet metal steel casing. PCB: FR4 printed circuit board. Core Components: High-frequency switching transformer, rectifier diodes, power MOSFETs, electrolytic capacitors, control IC, cooling fan assembly. Connector: Gold-plated backplane power connector.
Structural Features Standard rectangular rack plug-in power module form factor. Front panel with LED indicator and air intake grille. Rear gold-plated connector mates with rack backplane for power output and signal communication. Internal fan mounted at front side pushes cooling air through power circuit components. Side locking latch for fast insertion and extraction from rack slot.
Working Principle AC input voltage passes input filter and rectifier circuit to become DC voltage. High frequency switching circuit converts DC voltage through high-frequency transformer isolation and voltage regulation. The circuit outputs stable 12 VDC and standby 5 VSB power for rack load. Protection circuits continuously monitor output voltage, current and internal temperature and shut down power conversion immediately upon fault condition. Power good signal informs host controller of normal operating status.
Installation Requirements Insert power module horizontally into compatible rack power slot. Push module fully home and lock side latch to ensure backplane contact. Connect AC input power cable to module AC inlet. Ensure rack cabinet ventilation fan system works normally. Verify parallel current sharing function when multiple redundant modules are installed.
Usage Notes Wait for internal capacitor discharge before removing module after power off. Do not operate module with blocked air intake grille. Check fan rotation status periodically. Do not exceed rated 380W total output power. Replace module immediately upon fault LED activation.
