Bender IRDH575B1W-435

Product Introduction Bender IRDH575B1W-435 is enhanced rugged version of IRDH575 series ISOMETER insulation monitor. The suffix W stands for reinforced vibration and shock resistance, designed for marine, railway and seismic-prone environments. It monitors insulation resistance for 3-phase AC, DC and AC/DC mixed unearthed networks, supports EDS insulation fault location system expansion. It stores fault records with real-time clock timestamps for post-fault analysis.

Application Scenarios Shipboard marine IT power systems; Railway vehicle on-board isolated power supply; Offshore platform electrical distribution; Mobile emergency power stations; Industrial sites with seismic risk.

Performance Parameters Operating ambient temperature -20℃ to +60℃; Storage temperature -40℃ to +85℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%; Reinforced vibration and shock resistance; Rated impulse withstand voltage 8kV; Pollution degree 3.

Material Composition Flame-retardant plastic panel housing; Multi-layer glass fiber PCB with vibration-resistant component soldering; LCD backlit display; Isolation measuring circuit; Electromechanical relays; Gold-plated communication terminals; Silicone sealing gasket.

Structural Characteristics Panel embedded mounting structure; Front LCD display and operation buttons; Rear wiring terminal block; Sealing gasket between panel and cabinet door; Internal reinforced component fixing to resist mechanical vibration.

Working Principle The device injects low-level measuring signal into unearthed power network. The microcontroller samples leakage current and computes insulation resistance continuously. When insulation resistance falls below setting value, alarm relay activates. When paired with EDS fault locator, it generates locating current to pinpoint the branch with insulation fault. All fault events are recorded with timestamp in non-volatile memory.

Installation Requirements Cut off all power before installation. Install on cabinet front panel with matching cutout. Apply sealing gasket to achieve IP42 protection. Route measuring wires with shielded twisted pair. Connect protective earth to cabinet ground bar. Configure network parameters and test alarm and fault location functions after power-up.

Usage Notes Do not scratch the front sealing gasket. Do not operate the device with panel cover removed in dusty or humid environment. Keep original spare parts for replacement. Backup parameter configuration before replacement. Periodically check terminal tightness under vibration working condition.
