Material Composition
The probe body is constructed from high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The internal coil utilizes premium materials to guarantee exceptional thermal stability and measurement precision across wide temperature ranges.

Structural Characteristics
Features a ruggedized design with TipLoc mold technology ensuring a permanent bond between the probe tip and body. It includes a Viton O-ring for differential pressure sealing and a CableLoc strain relief design capable of withstanding 330 N (75 lbs) of pull force.

Working Principle
Based on the eddy current effect, the probe’s internal coil generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When a conductive metal shaft enters this field, eddy currents are induced, altering the coil’s impedance. The proximitor demodulates this impedance change into a precise voltage signal.

Installation Requirements
The probe must be installed securely in a threaded mounting hole. Initial installation gap voltage must be precisely set within the linear range center (typically -9 to -10 VDC) using a calibrated gap setting tool.

Usage Precautions
Never replace the probe while the system is energized to prevent damage to the proximitor circuitry. Regularly inspect the probe face for metallic debris or oil deposits, and maintain the minimum cable bend radius to avoid internal conductor fracture.
