Material Composition
The probe body is constructed from high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The internal coil utilizes premium materials to guarantee exceptional thermal stability.
Structural Characteristics
Features a ruggedized design with TipLoc mold technology ensuring a permanent bond between the probe tip and body. Includes a Viton O-ring for differential pressure sealing.
Working Principle
Based on the eddy current effect, the probe’s internal coil generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When a conductive metal shaft enters this field, eddy currents are induced, altering the coil’s impedance.
Installation Requirements
The probe must be installed securely in a threaded mounting hole. Initial installation gap voltage must be precisely set within the linear range center (typically -9 to -10 VDC).
Usage Precautions
Never replace the probe while the system is energized. Regularly inspect the probe face for metallic debris or oil deposits.
