Application Scenarios
Widely utilized across global industrial facilities, including power generation, oil and gas, and manufacturing, as the standard baseline redundant power supply for 3500 machinery protection racks.
Performance Parameters
- Operating Temperature Range: -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +150°F)
- Storage Temperature Range: -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F)
- Humidity Tolerance: 95% non-condensing
- Input Current: Optimized for standard industrial AC distribution networks
Material Composition
Built with industrial-standard power electronics, durable metallic chassis, and reliable internal connectors designed for continuous 24/7 operation in harsh industrial environments.
Structural Characteristics
Consists of two half-height modules installed in the leftmost upper and lower slots of the 3500 rack. Features standard front-panel status indicators and rear terminal connections for AC input.
Working Principle
Converts incoming universal AC voltage to regulated internal DC bus voltage using switch-mode technology. The redundant control logic ensures that if the lower (primary) supply fails, the upper (secondary) supply immediately assumes the full rack load without any voltage dip or system interruption.
Installation Requirements
Must be mounted in the special leftmost slots of the 3500/05 rack. Connect AC power using appropriately sized conductors. Ensure the system grounding switch on the Power Input Module is correctly set (OPEN or CLOSED) based on the facility’s single-point grounding scheme.
Usage Precautions
When operating in redundant mode, always use matching power supply revisions to ensure optimal load sharing and switchover performance. Never remove both power supplies simultaneously. Adhere to all high-voltage safety warnings and allow capacitors to discharge before servicing.
