Description
Bently 3500-3-1
Technical Specifications
- Module Type: Transient Data Interface (TDI)
- Configuration: 03-01
- Data Capture: High-resolution time-base waveforms
- System Integration: 3500 Full-Height or Mini Frame
Functional Features
- Event-Triggered Capture: Automatically records detailed vibration and displacement waveforms when an alarm or trip condition occurs.
- Diagnostic Depth: Provides phase-resolved and time-synchronous data essential for advanced fault analysis (e.g., rubs, cracks, instability).
- Data Retention: Stores transient data locally on the module until retrieved by diagnostic software.
Application Scenarios
Critical for rotating machinery engineers performing root cause analysis after unexpected trips or during complex machine commissioning.
Performance Parameters
- Sampling Rate: High-frequency synchronous sampling
- Storage Capacity: Sufficient for multiple transient events
- Operating Temperature: -30°C to +65°C
Material Composition
Industrial-grade electronic components, conformal-coated PCBs, and a ruggedized metallic shielding enclosure.
Structural Characteristics
Standard full-height 3500 rack module with front-panel status LEDs and rear high-density backplane connectors.
Working Principle
Continuously buffers incoming sensor data in a circular memory buffer. Upon receiving a trigger event from the monitor modules, it locks the buffer and saves the waveform data for retrieval.
Installation Requirements
Install in an available slot within the 3500 rack. Ensure the backplane connector is fully seated and secure the front panel mounting screws.
Usage Precautions
Configure the trigger parameters correctly via the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to ensure relevant transients are captured. Regularly download and archive transient data to prevent memory overflow.
