Working Principle
The module continuously polls the 3500 backplane for alarm statuses. An internal microprocessor evaluates the user-defined logic configured via the 3500 Rack Configuration Software and energizes the corresponding relay coil when the specified conditions are met.
Installation Requirements
Can be placed in any available slot to the right of the Transient Data Interface (TDI) module. Wiring must adhere to the specified voltage and current limits to prevent contact welding.
Usage Precautions
Always verify the relay logic configuration after installation to prevent unintended machinery trips. Ensure external loads do not exceed the relay’s maximum switched power rating.
