Working Principle: Eddy current effect — high-frequency current through the probe coil generates an alternating magnetic field. The conductive target surface induces eddy currents, and the reverse magnetic field from these eddy currents alters the coil impedance. The proximitor converts this impedance change into a voltage signal proportional to the gap.
Installation Requirements:
- The mounting hole must be machined with M10×1 internal thread
- If using a 5-meter system proximitor, this probe can connect directly without an extension cable
- If using a 9-meter system proximitor, a 4-meter extension cable is required
- Set gap voltage to -10.0 VDC ± 0.2V
Usage Precautions:
- Confirm proximitor system length matches probe cable length
- Target surface must be conductive material
- Do not bend cables at right angles
- Shield must be grounded at a single point only
- Regularly clean the probe surface
