Working Principle The probe generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the 25 mm diameter probe tip. Eddy currents induced in the conductive target surface modify the RF field. The Proximitor Sensor detects these modifications and outputs a DC voltage proportional to the gap distance. The extended case length does not affect the electrical performance or sensitivity.
