Bently Nevada 330905-00-12-10-02-05

Product Overview The 330905-00-12-10-02-05 is a compact standard mount proximity probe from the 3300 NSv transducer family. It features an M10×1 metric thread with a 120 mm overall case length and 1.0 meter integral cable. The shorter case length compared to the 150 mm variant makes it suitable for installations with limited depth or confined mounting spaces while maintaining the full NSv performance characteristics for small-target vibration and position measurement.

Working Principle The probe operates on eddy-current sensing principles. An internal coil generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the probe tip. When a conductive target approaches, induced eddy currents modify the coil impedance. The associated Proximitor sensor converts this impedance change into a DC voltage proportional to gap distance, with AC components representing dynamic vibration.

Installation Requirements

  • Install in M10×1 threaded mounting hole
  • Ensure perpendicular alignment to target surface
  • Set gap to 1.0 mm for center of linear range
  • Verify -10 Vdc gap voltage at installation
  • Maintain 25.4 mm minimum cable bend radius
  • Use NSv-specific extension cables and Proximitor sensors

Usage Precautions

  • Do not force probe into undersized holes
  • Avoid mechanical impact to probe tip
  • Verify connector is fully locked after mating
  • Do not mix with non-NSv system components
  • Check thread condition before each installation
  • Store in original packaging to prevent connector damage
