Working Principle:
Identical to the 330980-50-00 — the Proximitor drives the probe coil with a high-frequency oscillator, detects impedance changes caused by eddy currents on the conductive target, and outputs a DC voltage proportional to the probe-to-target gap using phase-sensitive RF demodulation.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount on standard 35 mm DIN rail
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the Proximitor housing within the enclosure
- Connect the extension cable from the NSv probe to the Proximitor input using ClickLoc connectors
- Verify that the total system electrical length matches the Proximitor designation
- Ground the system according to Bently Nevada grounding practices
