Structural Features: Single-slot front plug-in monitor with matching rear I/O module. The rear I/O provides both sensor input terminals and 4-20 mA output terminals for each of the six channels.
Working Principle: The module conditions RTD and thermocouple signals, converts them to digital temperature values, and simultaneously generates proportional 4-20 mA analog outputs for each channel. The digital values are compared against user-programmable alarm setpoints to drive protection alarms. The analog outputs provide continuous temperature representation to external systems independent of the digital communication path.
Installation Requirements:
- Install in a Bently 3500 rack within an IP-rated cabinet
- Provide clean, dry air circulation
- Land sensors on the rear I/O module maintaining proper polarity
- Use shielded cables for both sensor inputs and 4-20 mA output wiring
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent ground loop interference
