Performance Parameters Analog measurement accuracy meets turbine protection standard; Hardware trip action response speed is fast; Event log data remains stored after power loss; Probe fault detection sensitivity is stable; High immunity to industrial electromagnetic interference.
Material Composition Metal reinforced rack housing; Multi-layer glass fiber PCB; Analog signal sampling circuits; Microprocessor; Electromechanical trip relays; Screw terminal blocks for field sensors; LED diagnostic indicators; Circuit board conformal coating.
Structural Features Rack mount plug-in unit; Front panel with LED indicators and test interface; Rear terminal blocks for sensor, power and trip wiring; Internal separation between analog weak signal circuit and relay power circuit; Metal casing for electromagnetic shielding.
Working Principle Temperature, pressure, vibration and speed sensor signals enter the unit’s sampling circuits. The onboard processor converts raw signals into physical values and compares measured values with preset trip and alarm thresholds. If any parameter crosses trip limit, independent hardware circuit activates trip relay immediately to shut down turbine. All events are recorded in non-volatile memory with timestamp. The unit continuously checks sensor wiring integrity and reports probe failure.
Installation Requirements Install unit inside air-conditioned control cabinet; Sensor cables adopt shielded twisted pair; Separate low-level sensor wiring from high voltage power cables; Reliable protective earth connection for cabinet; Maintain stable DC24V power supply.
Precautions for Use Complete protection function test before turbine startup; Modify trip setpoint only under turbine offline condition; Periodically inspect sensor cable insulation; Do not disable hardware trip circuit during operation; Clear event log after fault investigation.
