Emerson 1C31125G01

Product Overview:
The Emerson 1C31125G01 is an analog output module designed for the Emerson Ovation distributed control system. This module converts digital control signals from the Ovation controller into standard analog current or voltage signals to drive field devices such as control valves, variable frequency drives, recorders, and other actuators. It serves as a critical interface unit for control command output in power, chemical, water treatment, HVAC, energy management, and process industries.

Description

Emerson 1C31125G01

Technical Specifications: Nominal operating voltage: 24 VDC Isolation voltage rating: 1500 VAC between field side and control logic side Operating temperature range: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ Storage temperature range: -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing Compliant standards: IEC 61010, ISA-71.04

Functional Features: Screw type terminals for field cable termination. Independent overvoltage protection circuit for every channel. LED status indicators display real-time on/off state of each input channel. It accepts both dry contact and wet contact input signals. Built-in EMI filter suppresses high-frequency electromagnetic interference. Mechanical anti-mismatch structure prevents incorrect card insertion. Reserved test points allow technicians to verify signal status without cable disconnection. It supports hot swapping of matched digital input I/O cards.

Application Scenarios: Thermal power plant boiler auxiliary equipment status acquisition, valve position feedback signal collection, pump and fan running status monitoring, chemical plant discrete switch signal acquisition, metallurgical equipment interlock signal monitoring, pulp and paper machine safety switch detection.

Performance Parameters: Signal response time: less than 1 millisecond Maximum withstand current per channel: 1 A Vibration resistance: 10 Hz to 150 Hz, 0.5g Shock resistance: 10g peak acceleration, 11 ms duration MTBF value: 210000 hours under standard industrial cabinet environment

Material Composition: Main housing uses UL94-V0 flame-retardant thermoplastic material. Terminal screws adopt nickel-plated brass. Internal printed circuit board uses FR-4 glass fiber epoxy substrate. Protection diodes and resistors are soldered directly on PCB. DIN rail mounting spring clips are made of stainless steel.

Structural Features: Standard 35mm DIN rail snap mounting structure. Front panel is equipped with LED indicators and printed channel number marks. The upper area forms card slot for digital input I/O card installation. Screw terminals are arranged in two parallel rows on front face. Anti-misplug positioning buckle guarantees matching with designated Ovation I/O cards. Dust-proof edge design reduces dust accumulation on terminal area.

Working Principle: Dry contact or wet contact switch signals from field equipment connect to front screw terminals. Signals pass through isolation circuit and surge protection components, then transmit to matched digital input I/O card installed on the top slot. The I/O card identifies contact on and off state, converts discrete status into digital data and uploads data to Ovation controller. The terminal base supplies required 24V DC power for wet contact input loops.

Installation Requirements: Mount on standard 35mm DIN rail inside control cabinet. Maintain 25mm vertical clearance above and below the module for heat dissipation. Separate field signal cables and high voltage power cables in different cable trays. Tighten terminal screws with torque value between 0.6 N·m and 0.8 N·m. Cut off all related power supply before performing wiring work. Keep away from high-power frequency converter cables.

Precautions for Use: Do not connect high voltage AC signals to digital input terminals. Wear anti-static wristband when touching internal circuit components. Inspect terminal screw tightness during regular maintenance cycles. Stop using the terminal base immediately if burning marks appear on shell surface. Avoid installation in environments with corrosive gas or conductive dust.
