HART two-way communication for remote configuration and diagnostic data upload. Automatic calibration function for valve stroke. Local push button and LCD display for on-site operation. Over travel protection for valve actuator.
Application Scenarios: Control valve positioning for petrochemical refining process, power plant boiler steam and water regulation valves, chemical batch process control valves, oil and gas pipeline pressure control valves, pulp and paper mill process valves, water treatment plant flow control valves.
Performance Parameters: Control accuracy: ±0.5% full stroke Air consumption: low air consumption under stable state Vibration resistance: 10 Hz to 1000 Hz, 2 g Shock resistance: 10 g peak acceleration MTBF value: 240000 hours under normal process environment
Material Composition: Controller housing: die-cast aluminum alloy with corrosion resistant coating. Internal circuit board: FR-4 glass fiber epoxy printed board. Pneumatic components: stainless steel and high-strength engineering plastic. Position sensor: high reliability non-contact magnetic sensor. Push button and display window: reinforced transparent polycarbonate.
Structural Features: Compact integrated housing structure, directly mounted on valve actuator yoke. Pneumatic relay and electronic circuit sealed inside same housing. External air supply port, signal wiring terminal and LCD local display on housing surface. Local operation push buttons for calibration and parameter setting. Internal non-contact position sensor connected to valve stem feedback mechanism.
Working Principle: 4-20 mA setpoint signal from DCS enters the controller electronic unit. The controller compares setpoint value with actual valve stroke feedback signal. Internal algorithm calculates required air pressure output. Pneumatic relay adjusts air supply pressure to valve actuator. Valve stem movement changes position sensor reading and forms closed loop control. HART modem transmits valve diagnostic data and configuration parameters between controller and host system.
Installation Requirements: Mount controller on designated installation bracket of Fisher valve actuator. Connect instrument air supply pipe with clean dry instrument air. Route 4-20mA HART signal cable to wiring terminals, use shielded twisted pair cable. Tighten air pipe fittings to prevent air leakage. Complete automatic valve calibration after installation. Keep controller away from direct high temperature radiation.
Precautions for Use: Instrument air must be free of oil, water and solid particles. Do not apply overpressure to air supply port. Wear anti-static wristband when opening electronic housing. Regularly check air pipe for leakage. Do not disassemble internal pneumatic components without professional authorization. Replace position sensor immediately if stroke feedback deviates seriously.
