Description
Emerson MMS3210-022-000
Technical Specifications: Power supply: 24 VDC Input signal type: eddy current probe signal, velocity vibration signal Number of monitoring channels: 2 channels Measurement range: 0 to 20 mm/s vibration velocity Operating temperature: 0 ℃ to 60 ℃ Storage temperature: -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing Communication interface: RS485
Functional Features: Dual channel independent vibration signal acquisition and processing. Hardware threshold comparison for alarm and trip output. Relay dry contact output for alarm and trip signal. Built-in signal self-test and sensor fault detection. LED indicators show channel status, alarm and trip state. Digital communication uploads real-time vibration data. Parameter configuration through local software.
Application Scenarios: Steam turbine vibration monitoring, centrifugal compressor machinery protection, large industrial fan vibration protection, generator set condition monitoring, pump set vibration monitoring, petrochemical rotating machinery safety protection system.
Performance Parameters: Measurement accuracy: ±1% full scale Vibration resistance: 10 Hz to 150 Hz, 0.5 g Shock resistance: 10 g peak acceleration, 11 ms duration MTBF value: 202000 hours
Material Composition: Module housing: UL94-V0 flame-retardant metal shell. Main PCB: FR-4 glass fiber epoxy printed board. Backplane connector pins: gold-plated copper alloy. Terminal blocks: nickel-plated brass. Side locking latches: reinforced engineering plastic.
Structural Features: Standard rack plug-in module structure. Two side locking latches for rack fixing. Front panel with channel LED indicators. Rear multi-pin gold-plated connector connects rack backplane. Terminal area on front panel for sensor wiring. Internal metal shielding reduces electromagnetic interference.
Working Principle: The module receives vibration signal from field vibration sensor. Internal signal conditioning circuit amplifies and filters raw signal. Digital processing unit calculates vibration amplitude and frequency. The module compares measured value with preset alarm and trip threshold. When value exceeds threshold, relay contact changes state and triggers alarm or trip action. Real-time data uploads to upper monitoring system via RS485 bus.
Installation Requirements: Insert module into designated slot of MMS rack and lock side latches. Use shielded twisted pair cable for sensor wiring. Separate sensor signal cable and high-voltage power cable. Cut off rack power before plugging or removing module. Complete parameter configuration after power on.
Precautions for Use: Do not connect high voltage signal to sensor terminals. Wear anti-static wristband during maintenance. Regularly check sensor cable insulation and connector tightness. Do not install in environment with corrosive gas. Calibrate module and sensor periodically.
