EPRO PR6423000-101-CN

Product Introduction PR6423000-101-CN is EPRO eddy current displacement probe used for non-contact measurement of rotating machinery shaft vibration and shaft relative position. This probe is equipped with fixed length integrated coaxial cable. It forms complete measurement channel together with EPRO signal converter. It applies eddy current effect to detect tiny gap variation between probe tip and metal rotor surface. It supplies displacement data to machinery protection system for vibration monitoring and automatic protection trip of large rotating equipment.

Technical Specifications Model: PR6423000-101-CN Measurement Principle: Eddy current non-contact sensing Operating Temperature of Probe: -35℃ ~ +180℃ Measuring Range: 0 ~ 2mm Mounting Form: Threaded installation Integrated Cable Length: 1 meter Protection Class: IP67 Storage Temperature: -40℃ ~ +185℃ Relative Humidity: 5% ~ 95% non-condensing

Functional Features Non-contact measurement eliminates mechanical wear between probe and rotating shaft. High temperature resistant stainless steel and ceramic packaging adapt to high temperature bearing housing environment. 1-meter integrated shielded coaxial cable reduces signal interference. High-frequency coil encapsulated in ceramic body has strong vibration resistance. Compatible with EPRO series signal converters to output standard analog measurement signal. High resolution for capturing micrometer-level shaft vibration displacement. Threaded mounting structure supports fine adjustment of installation gap. Stable measurement performance for ferromagnetic metal target surface.

Application Scenarios Steam turbine vibration monitoring, centrifugal compressor shaft position measurement, large generator protection system, industrial gas turbine monitoring, large industrial pump and fan shaft vibration monitoring.

Performance Parameters High linearity within full measuring range. High displacement resolution to capture tiny vibration amplitude. Probe maintains stable measurement characteristic under continuous high temperature and vibration. Shielded coaxial cable restrains conducted electromagnetic interference. Measurement characteristic will not drift after long time continuous operation. Lock nut keeps probe installation gap fixed during machine vibration.

Material Composition Probe housing: High temperature resistant stainless steel alloy. Sensing coil: High temperature enameled copper winding. Encapsulation material: High temperature ceramic insulator. Cable: Fluorine plastic insulated shielded coaxial cable. Threaded fitting and lock nut: Stainless steel material. Sealing filler: High temperature insulating sealant.

Structural Features Cylindrical threaded probe body, ceramic tip encapsulates sensing coil. 1-meter shielded coaxial cable integrated at rear of probe. External thread structure matched with lock nut for installation on bearing housing. Compact tip design adapts to narrow installation space near bearing assembly. Coaxial cable is connected to probe body with sealed joint to prevent moisture intrusion.

Working Principle The matched signal converter provides high-frequency alternating excitation current to probe coil through integrated coaxial cable. Alternating magnetic field radiates from probe tip. Eddy current is induced on nearby metal shaft surface. Eddy current changes the impedance of probe coil. The coil impedance directly relates to the gap distance between probe tip and metal shaft. Signal converter detects impedance variation and converts gap value into standard analog signal. The machinery monitoring system receives analog signal and calculates shaft vibration and displacement value.

Installation Requirements Tap threaded hole on machine bearing housing according to probe thread dimension. Screw probe into threaded hole, adjust the gap between probe tip and metal shaft to working range. Tighten lock nut to fix probe position. Arrange 1m coaxial cable in protective conduit, avoid sharp bending and pulling. Connect coaxial cable connector to matched EPRO signal converter. Carry out calibration with standard target block before machine commissioning. Verify no contact between probe tip and rotating shaft after installation.

Usage Precautions Probe tip must not touch rotating shaft during machine running, collision causes permanent probe damage. Do not stretch, squeeze or bend coaxial cable below minimum bending radius. Cutting and splicing of integrated coaxial cable is forbidden, which destroys measurement linearity. Probe can only work with matched EPRO signal converter, cannot output signal alone. Check probe appearance and cable integrity during equipment overhaul. Strong magnetic field near probe installation point affects measurement precision.
