Material Composition
Enclosed in a durable extruded aluminum housing. Internal components are rated for G3 harsh environments per ISA S71.04 standards.
Structural Characteristics
Compact form factor weighing approximately 0.5 kg. Designed for easy DIN rail installation with clearly labeled terminal blocks for field wiring.
Working Principle
The module’s internal microcontroller manages the configurable I/O channels. Digital inputs are read via optocouplers, while analog signals are conditioned and converted via high-resolution ADCs/DACs. Relay outputs are driven by isolated transistor drivers. All data is exchanged with the FCP via the redundant fieldbus.
Installation Requirements
Mount securely on a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Ensure proper grounding of the aluminum housing for EMI compliance. Use shielded cables for analog signals.
Usage Precautions
Configure the channel types (AI, AO, DI, Relay) in the engineering software before commissioning. Do not exceed the 2 A rating on relay outputs. Handle with ESD precautions.
