Working Principle: After power-on, the board loads control program from onboard flash memory. The embedded processor runs sequence logic and receives field signal data from rack bus. It calculates control output commands and sends commands to corresponding I/O modules. Watchdog circuit continuously monitors program operation. If abnormal program execution is detected, watchdog triggers automatic system reset. Self-diagnosis circuit checks onboard hardware and bus communication status and reports fault information via front LED and rack bus.
Installation Requirements:
- Insert module into designated slot of Hitachi control rack
- Wear anti-static wristband during module replacement
- Inspect gold-plated edge connector for dust and oxidation before insertion
- Push module fully into slot and engage locking latches
- Maintain cabinet ventilation and temperature control
- Keep cabinet clean and dry
Usage Notes:
- Backup control program and configuration data before board replacement
- Complete system power-up self-test after installation
- Do not touch PCB circuit components directly with bare hands
- Disconnect rack power before removing module unless hot swap is approved
- Inspect conformal coating condition during equipment shutdown maintenance
- Keep spare board stored in anti-static packaging
