HONEYWELL 30732052-001

Technical Specifications BNC male plug form; Precision impedance resistor matched for LCN coaxial network; Passive component without power requirement; Compact plug structure; Compatible with LCN BNC tee connectors and cable ports.

Functional Features Provide accurate terminal impedance at unused LCN BNC ports; Eliminate signal reflection and standing wave at open cable terminals; Prevent waveform distortion and data packet loss caused by unterminated open ports; Maintain whole LCN network impedance consistency; No power consumption and no additional communication load.

Application Scenarios TDC3000 LCN coaxial network spare BNC ports; Unused branch ports of LCN tee connectors; Temporary reserved network ports in control room DCS cabinets.

Performance Parameters Operating temperature range 0℃ to 60℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Stable resistance value under long time continuous operation; No signal attenuation to active network ports.

Material Composition Metal BNC male connector; High precision metal film resistor; Insulating plastic housing; Internal shielding metal parts.

Structural Features Compact cylindrical plug shape; Standard BNC male connector; Plastic outer shell; Model number printed on housing surface; No LED or power interface.

Working Principle When plugged into unused BNC port of LCN tee connector, the internal precision resistor matches the characteristic impedance of LCN coaxial cable. It absorbs reflected high-speed digital signal at open port and removes standing wave interference, so LCN data frames transmit normally on the whole coaxial backbone without waveform distortion.

Installation Requirements Plug into all unused LCN BNC ports after network wiring; Twist BNC connector manually to achieve tight connection; Do not use extra force to damage connector threads; Check all spare ports after LCN network commissioning.

Precautions for Use Only install on unused spare LCN BNC ports; Do not plug this terminator on active LCN signal transmission ports; Inspect connector corrosion and looseness during regular cabinet maintenance; Use original Honeywell terminator only, generic resistors cannot replace this part.
