Description
HONEYWELL 51196653-100-RP
Technical Specifications Input voltage range covers 85VAC to 264VAC Input frequency ranges from 47Hz to 63Hz Rated DC output is 24VDC Maximum output current reaches 10A Power efficiency exceeds 88% Operating temperature spans 0℃ to 60℃ Storage temperature ranges from -40℃ to 85℃ Relative humidity maintains 5% to 95% without condensation Built-in over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection circuits It carries CE and UL safety certifications
Functional Features It provides stable 24VDC power for rack-based DCS hardware. It supports redundant parallel operation and seamless load sharing between two modules. It automatically isolates the faulty unit while the spare module takes full load without power interruption. It monitors internal temperature, output voltage and current continuously. It uploads power fault, overload and overheat alarms to the control system. It features soft start function to suppress inrush current during power-up.
Application Scenarios Power supply for Honeywell TDC3000 and Experion control cabinets in petrochemical plants Redundant power deployment for boiler control systems in thermal power stations Power backup for natural gas compressor control racks Power source for offshore platform process control cabinets Power supply for critical interlock systems in fine chemical manufacturing
Performance Parameters Output voltage tolerance stays within ±1% of nominal rating Ripple and noise of DC output is less than 50mV peak to peak The redundant switchover completes without power dropout Over-voltage protection triggers at 28VDC Over-temperature protection activates at 85℃ internal temperature
Material Composition Main printed circuit board uses multi-layer FR4 flame retardant substrate with conformal coating Main power transformer adopts insulated copper winding Front panel uses black flame retardant ABS plastic Power input and output connectors use high-temperature nylon insulation Internal power semiconductors are industrial grade silicon power devices
Structural Characteristics It adopts rack-mounted horizontal plug-in structure matching standard control cabinet slots Front panel integrates AC power indicator, DC output indicator and fault alarm LED Spring contact terminals are used for backplane power connection Built-in aluminum alloy heat sink for passive thermal dissipation Quick-release locking latches are fitted on both sides for easy extraction and insertion
Working Principle AC power from the cabinet distribution bus enters the module through the input terminal block. The AC-DC conversion circuit rectifies, filters and steps down the mains power to regulated 24VDC. When two modules run in redundant mode, internal load-sharing circuits distribute output current evenly. The protection circuits cut off output immediately once over-voltage, over-current or excessive temperature is detected. Status signals are transmitted to the rack diagnostic bus for fault reporting.
Installation Requirements Install into the dedicated power slot of Honeywell standard control rack Connect AC input wiring to the specified terminal block with torque controlled to manufacturer requirements Keep at least 20mm clearance above and below the module for airflow Separate high-voltage AC wiring from low-voltage signal cables The cabinet protective earth wire must be firmly connected with grounding resistance no higher than 4Ω
Usage Notes Do not operate the module beyond the specified AC input range Confirm correct phase and neutral connection before power application Wear anti-static wristband during replacement Do not remove the protective cover while the module remains energized Clean dust on the heat sink periodically in dusty industrial environments
