Technical Specifications Precision matched impedance for UCN twisted pair bus; Built-in signal amplitude monitoring circuit; Twisted pair terminal interface; Rack slot mounting; Support UCN link fault detection.
Functional Features Provide accurate impedance termination at two physical endpoints of UCN backbone; Eliminate standing wave interference caused by signal reflection on long twisted pair cable; Continuously monitor UCN communication signal strength; Detect cable break and excessive signal attenuation; Block surge interference from field side; Protect UCN communication chips of connected controllers.
Application Scenarios Petrochemical and gas plant TDC3000 UCN field control network; Two terminal points of UCN twisted pair trunk; Remote field control cabinet network monitoring.
Performance Parameters Operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; Humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Stable impedance value under long continuous operation; Strong anti-surge performance.
Material Composition FR-4 printed circuit board; High precision power resistors; Surge absorption components; Twisted pair metal terminal connectors; Flame retardant plastic housing.
Structural Features Compact rack plug-in module; Front panel equipped with UCN network status LED indicator; Twisted pair signal input port; Rack fixing buckle; Anti-reverse insertion notch; Model and revision code 005 printed on housing.
Working Principle The module connects at the physical end of UCN twisted pair trunk. Built-in precision resistor matches the characteristic impedance of UCN communication cable. It absorbs reflected signal at cable end and prevents waveform distortion and data packet loss. Signal monitoring circuit samples communication signal continuously, judges cable fault or excessive attenuation and sends fault alarm to UCN network system.
Installation Requirements Only install at two physical endpoints of UCN backbone; Fasten twisted pair terminal connection reliably; Connect protective ground wire to cabinet ground bar; Keep UCN communication cable away from high power motor and inverter cables; Verify network communication stability after installation.
Precautions for Use Do not install termination module at non-terminal position of UCN trunk; Do not access high voltage signal to communication port; Inspect cable terminals for corrosion and looseness periodically; Replace module when UCN communication attenuation alarm triggers.
