Functional Features It provides two groups of isolated DC power outputs for the digital logic circuit and analog field loop circuit of the rack. It adopts active power factor correction circuit to reduce harmonic interference to the power grid. It continuously monitors output voltage, output current and internal temperature. It triggers hardware protection and cuts off output when overvoltage, overcurrent or short-circuit fault occurs. It sends power failure and pre-fault alarm signals to the IOP module. It supports hot swap in redundant power supply configuration. It has built-in surge absorption circuit to suppress grid voltage spike impact.
Application Scenarios Power supply for standard UCN local I/O racks equipped with IOP and I/O cards. Power supply for remote RIO I/O racks installed in tank farms and loading stations. Replacement and redundant configuration of aging power supply modules in legacy TPS systems. Power supply for I/O racks of boiler auxiliary systems and utility process units.
Performance Parameters Output Voltage Regulation Accuracy: ±2% Ripple and Noise: ≤50mV peak to peak Overvoltage Protection Threshold: 5.8V DC for 5V channel, 27.5V DC for 24V channel Over-temperature Protection Threshold: 85℃

Structural Features Standard pluggable power module structure, suitable for dedicated power slot of UCN rack. Front panel is equipped with power indicator light, fault indicator light and over-temperature alarm indicator light. AC input terminal and DC output terminal are separated on the front panel with clear marking. Internal high-voltage area and low-voltage DC area are separated by insulation barrier. Built-in axial fan for forced air cooling, air inlet and outlet are equipped with dust filter screen.
Working Principle The AC input power passes through the input filter and rectifier circuit, then enters the high-frequency switching circuit. The isolation transformer converts high-frequency AC into two groups of independent DC power after rectification and filtering. The feedback control circuit adjusts the switching duty cycle in real time to keep the output voltage stable. The protection circuit samples the output voltage, current and internal temperature. When the parameter exceeds the threshold, the protection circuit stops the switching action and cuts off the power output. The fault state signal is sent to the IOP module for system alarm display.
Installation Requirements Insert the module vertically into the dedicated power slot of UCN rack and tighten fixing screws. Connect AC input cable to the marked input terminal and confirm the grounding wire is reliably connected. Check the output voltage value with a multimeter before loading I/O cards. For redundant power configuration, install two power modules in parallel on the same rack. Keep the air inlet and outlet of the fan unobstructed and avoid blocking the air duct.
Precautions Cut off the AC input power before disassembling the module to avoid electric shock hazard. The total power consumption of all I/O cards on the rack shall not exceed the rated power of this power supply module. Do not remove the internal dust filter screen, which will cause dust accumulation and overheating. Replace the fan when abnormal noise appears to prevent heat dissipation failure. High voltage surge from the power grid will cause permanent damage to the switching circuit.
