Honeywell 620-1535

Product Introduction This dedicated temperature input module is designed for RTD platinum resistance temperature sensors. It supports PT100, PT1000 sensor types, adopts three-wire or four-wire connection mode to eliminate lead resistance error. It converts resistance variation from temperature sensors into digital temperature value and uploads to IPC620 CPU. It is used for furnace, pipeline and equipment temperature monitoring.

Material Composition Multilayer FR4 PCB, high-precision ADC chip, constant current source circuit, optocoupler isolators, ultra-stable reference resistor array, TVS surge diodes, gold-plated backplane edge connector, UL94 V0 flame retardant plastic front panel.

Structural Features Standard eurocard plug-in size matching IPC620 rack slot. Front panel terminal block with clear RTD wiring marking. Internal isolation barrier separates sensor field side and backplane logic. Anti-keying notch prevents mis-insertion into voltage/current analog input slots. Constant current traces are shielded to reduce thermal drift.

Working Principle Onboard precision constant current source injects small current into RTD sensor. ADC circuit measures voltage drop on RTD and lead wires. Compensation algorithm removes lead resistance influence and calculates actual resistance value. Resistance-temperature conversion formula outputs temperature value. Open/short circuit judgment is completed by monitoring loop impedance. Data is packed and uploaded to CPU via I/O Link bus.
