- Side expansion connector to controller
- Front panel channel LEDs
- Bottom field terminals
- Modular stacking
- Fanless cooling
Working Principle The module communicates with the HC900 controller over the expansion bus. Field input signals enter input terminals, are optically isolated, and uploaded to the controller. Controller outputs downloaded over the expansion bus drive relay contacts to field loads. LEDs indicate each channel.
Installation Requirements
- With power off, stack the module on the side expansion slot and lock
- Connect field wires to terminals
- Size relay output to load
- Temperature 0 °C to +60 °C
- Configure I/O in programming software after power-up
- Stack multiple modules in order
Precautions
- Install/remove only with controller power off
- Relay contacts must not exceed AC250 V 2 A
- Number of expansion modules within controller limit
- Store spares in dry environment
- Configure I/O points in software after replacement
- Periodically inspect terminal tightness
