Description
Honeywell SC-PCMX01 51307195-175
Technical Specifications Memory expansion bus interface for PM/APM controller motherboards; backplane 5VDC; on-board RAM and non-volatile storage; parity error checking; power-up memory self-test; operating temperature 0℃ to 60℃; storage temperature -40℃ to 85℃; humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing.
Functional Features Extends controller memory for process database, batch sequences and trend history. Performs continuous memory parity monitoring. Executes full memory self-test on power up. Maps into the same unified controller memory address space. Reports memory utilization and fault status to the LCN operator station.
Application Scenarios Memory expansion for refinery PM controllers; batch process APM upgrades; auxiliary plant TDC3000 controllers with growing point count; spare memory card for legacy system maintenance.
Performance Parameters Zero wait-state memory access; single-bit parity error detection; full coverage self-test; consistent access latency across the expanded address range.
Material Composition FR4 flame retardant PCB with conformal coating; wide temperature memory devices; gold plated expansion connector; metal retention bracket.
Structural Characteristics Vertical daughter card form factor; power and fault LED indicators on the card edge; locking clips on both sides; passive cooling.
Working Principle The main PM/APM processor detects the expansion card at boot and maps its memory into the unified address space. Control logic may use the expanded region for point data, batch recipes and trend buffers. Parity monitoring flags data errors which are then reported through the main controller to the LCN network.
Installation Requirements Power off the controller before insertion. Seat the card fully in the expansion slot and engage the locking clips. Verify memory size in engineering software after power on. Wear anti-static wrist strap.
Usage Notes Confirm motherboard compatibility before ordering. Re-check scan cycle timing after memory expansion. Do not hot swap the card. Keep spare cards in anti-static packaging.
