HONEYWELL TC-IXP061
Technical Specifications Power supply from rack backplane; Multi-channel pulse input; Support frequency range from low frequency up to tens of kHz; Hardware pulse debounce circuit; Channel signal isolation; Built-in pulse counter with high resolution; Rack plug-in design compatible with Series C I/O rack.
Functional Features Receive pulse signals from volumetric flow meters, turbine meters and speed pickups; Calculate flow total, instantaneous flow rate and rotational speed from pulse frequency; Isolate field signal and control circuit to suppress ground loop interference; Record pulse events with high precision timestamp; Detect signal loss and abnormal pulse waveform; Upload channel fault and process value to Experion PKS controller and operator station; Single channel fault will not interrupt other channel measurement.
Application Scenarios Petrochemical, chemical and power plant Experion PKS control cabinets; Flow totalization for liquid and gas metering; Rotation speed monitoring for compressors, pumps and turbines; Batch process pulse counting.
Performance Parameters Operating temperature range 0℃ to 60℃; Relative humidity 5% to 95%, non-condensing; Meet industrial EMC standards for control room environment; Maintain stable counting accuracy under long continuous operation.
Material Composition FR-4 multilayer industrial printed circuit board; Gold-plated backplane edge connectors; High-speed counter chips; Signal filter resistors and capacitors; Surge suppression components; Anti-static flame retardant plastic front panel.
Structural Features Standard rack plug-in card structure; Front panel fitted with LED indicators for running, communication and channel fault status; Gold fingers on the rear side connect rack backplane bus; Anti-reverse insertion positioning notch; Product model and hardware revision printed clearly on card surface.
Working Principle Field pulse signal enters the module through terminal assembly. Isolation circuit separates field side and control side. High-speed hardware counter captures each pulse edge and accumulates pulse quantity. Internal logic calculates instantaneous frequency and accumulated total value. The module sends digital measurement data to the C300 controller over I/O Link bus. On-board diagnostic circuit continuously monitors pulse signal quality and triggers alarm when signal loss or waveform distortion occurs.
Installation Requirements Wear anti-static wrist strap during all disassembly and assembly operations; Insert the card vertically and steadily into the designated rack slot, then lock the fixing screw tightly; Ensure cabinet protective grounding system is fully completed and qualified; Verify hardware version matches C300 controller firmware; Guarantee reliable contact between gold fingers and backplane connector.
Precautions for Use Do not plug or unplug the module under power-on state; Keep pulse signal cables separated from high-power power cables; Regularly check panel LED indicator status; Do not exceed rated input pulse amplitude for each channel; Replace spare parts only after verifying complete model and hardware revision.
