Working Principle The processor executes safety application logic in a triple modular redundant configuration. Three independent processors run the same logic and vote on outputs. The Inter-Module Bus communicates with I/O modules using triplicated paths. Sequence of Events recording captures state changes with precise timestamps for post-event analysis.
Installation Requirements
- Install only in T8100 controller chassis processor slots
- Provide 20 to 32 VDC power within specified range
- Ensure adequate ventilation for 80 Watt heat dissipation
- Configure as primary or hot-standby per system architecture
Operating Precautions
- Monitor processor temperature during operation
- Verify SOE buffer is not overflowing
- Check redundant processor synchronization status
- Replace faulted processors promptly to maintain TMR capability
