Working Principle AC input is rectified and switched at high frequency. Transformer isolates and steps down; secondary rectifier produces DC24 V. Battery connects across output. The charger maintains float voltage; when AC fails, battery discharges to load. Monitoring circuits protect output and battery.

Installation Requirements

  • Insert into DC panel rack
  • Select AC input voltage
  • Connect battery with correct polarity
  • Connect DC load bus
  • Temperature 0 °C to +50 °C
  • Grounding
  • Verify float voltage after power-up
  • Redundant rectifiers share current

Precautions

  • Battery polarity must not be reversed
  • Do not short DC output
  • Battery ventilation required
  • Replace electrolytic capacitors at end of life
  • Store spares in dry environment
  • Periodically measure battery voltage
  • Disconnect AC before service
