Working Principle Identical control architecture to BDS5-203 but with scaled power stage. The PWM output stage uses higher current-rated IGBT or MOSFET power switches to deliver 10 Amps continuous. The control processor executes the same motion programs, but the current loop compensator is tuned for the higher power bandwidth. Torque mode operation provides direct current command proportional to input signal, suitable for tension control and force applications.
Installation Requirements
- Require larger electrical enclosure due to increased heat dissipation
- Use 14 AWG or larger wire for motor power connections
- External regeneration resistor strongly recommended given 75W internal dissipation
- Ensure 8-inch minimum clearance around heatsink surfaces
